Responsible for developing and maintaining an end-to-end daily automatic retail ordering system.
This system receives ~2 million products (~100k unique) every day. Based on the state of the supply chain, the system decides where to allocate products for optimal redundancy and warehouse utilization.

Developed and launched a new feature to allow the ordering system to optimally place one product for multiple different delivery dates in a single order while taking into account product inventory and updated orders.
Created the technical proposal, test plan, implemented the feature and worked with a product manager to launch the feature in 5 months.

Improved notification system for the ordering system on Slack to help business analysts to monitor their orders without the engineering complexity.

Migrated product-shuffling service from Python2 to Python3 and reduced algorithm runtime by 75%.

Created front-end UI for the upcoming labor capacity prediction tool in Vue.
Integrated the frontend with back-end Java service to submit workflow, track workflow, and display metrics.

Responsible for the design and development of a large-scale, device-agnostic, distributed, and regionalized Content Delivery Platform in Java on Linux that is available, reliable, and properly scaled.
The platform is a tier-1 critical service that delivers digital content to customers (such as E-book and magazines) and is hit with approximately 2k requests per second at peak times.

Migrated two metrics services to away from Oracle databases to use RDS PostgreSQL.

Owned an event workflow system and manage communication with event publishers (Amazon Queue Service and Simple Queue Service).
Used AWS services for dependency, S3 for object storage.

Owned a new platform for event handling and regionalized distributed systems to expand and improve data delivery speed.

Responsible for functional, integration, and load tests. Ensured the reliability and security of the delivery system.
